Join a leading international law firm's flexible legal resourcing team as an employment lawyer on a contract/consulting basis in Melbourne. This role suits experienced employment lawyers seeking flexible, hybrid work arrangements, project-based engagements or interim assignments across large organisations and corporate clients.

You will advise on a broad range of employment matters including employee relations, litigation and investigations, disciplinary and termination matters, industrial relations and collective bargaining, workplace safety and discrimination, payroll/remediation projects, and regulatory engagement. Most roles are hybrid and can be tailored for days/hours to suit your preferences.

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in employment/labour law
  • Demonstrable experience with employment litigation, investigations, enterprise bargaining, workplace safety, anti-discrimination law and dealings with employment regulators
  • Experience managing large-scale remediation or compliance projects and advising on WHS and privacy/compliance matters
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise high-volume matters
  • Right to live and work in Australia and hold (or be able to obtain) an Australian practising certificate
  • Willingness to engage via an incorporated legal practice or on a casual/consulting basis
