Apply in confidence →Join a leading organisation in the education sector in a role that will strengthen your legal career. As an Employment Lawyer with our flexible legal resourcing platform, you'll take on a 4-month, part-time (hybrid) engagement based in Melbourne.
You are an experienced employment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your expertise includes:
- Demonstrated experience managing workplace investigations, misconduct matters and integrity-related issues within a government, regulatory, corporate or professional services environment
- Experience assessing, triaging and managing allegations of misconduct, conflicts of interest, fraud, bullying, corruption or other integrity concerns
- Proven ability to oversee and coordinate internal and external investigations, including managing investigators, reviewing findings and ensuring procedural fairness
- Strong understanding of investigative methodologies, evidence assessment, fact-finding processes and report preparation
- Experience conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations to address integrity, governance and workplace conduct issues
- Ability to analyse complex information, identify key issues and develop practical, risk-based solutions
- Experience preparing high-quality briefing papers, investigation reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Experience managing sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgement
- Ability to provide guidance on workplace conduct, governance, compliance and organisational integrity matters
- Proven ability to manage multiple investigations and competing priorities in a high-volume environment
