Apply in confidence →An international law firm is seeking an experienced Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its Real Estate practice with a focus on construction matters, based in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent role within a collaborative team handling high-profile work.
You will manage a varied caseload across both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, providing practical advice and representation to clients. The role includes drafting and negotiating construction documentation, managing construction disputes and adjudications, and handling litigation in Supreme Court and arbitration proceedings across Australian jurisdictions.
You will also contribute to business development activities, participate in the firm's learning and development programs, and help build knowledge resources and precedents. - At least four years' post-admission experience in construction law gained at a well-regarded law firm or in a sophisticated in-house environment.
- Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters is highly regarded.
- Admission to practice in Australia.
