Law firm seeks an associate to join a busy employment litigation group in the Albany office. The role focuses on defending employers in a broad range of workplace disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract and restrictive covenant matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing litigation and administrative matters, representing clients in court, arbitration and mediations, counseling and training employer clients, and working on class/collective and individual claims. The team handles agency charges and litigation at both the state and federal levels.

JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
2+ years of litigation experience; employment/labor experience strongly preferred
Admission to the New York bar or eligibility to obtain admission
Familiarity with state and federal agency procedures (EEOC, state agencies)
Strong written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
