Established national employment defense team seeks an experienced litigation associate to join its Berkeley Heights, NJ office. The role focuses on defending employers in employment-related litigation and administrative matters, with frequent courtroom, arbitration, mediation and agency appearances.

Typical matters include discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour and other employment tort and contract disputes, including class/collective actions. The associate will also advise and train employer clients on workplace policies and risk mitigation.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school and strong academic credentials
4+ years of employment or commercial litigation experience; employment-law background preferred
Admission to the New Jersey bar in good standing
Familiarity with federal and state administrative/agency procedures
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and project-management skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
