Established national labor & employment practice is seeking an employment litigation associate to join its Cleveland office. The role focuses on defending employers in litigation and administrative matters, counseling clients on workplace policies, and delivering practical advice to business clients.

Day-to-day work includes handling discrimination, retaliation, wage/hour, non-compete and related employment claims; representing employers in court, arbitration, mediations and agency proceedings; and providing training and preventative counseling. The team offers collaborative support and a fast-paced litigation docket.

JD from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
2+ years of litigation experience; employment/labor experience strongly preferred
Active Ohio bar admission in good standing
Familiarity with federal and state agency procedures (EEOC, state commissions)
Excellent written and oral communication and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize, and work effectively on teams
