Well-established national labor & employment practice seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Portsmouth, NH office. The role focuses on defending employers in a full range of employment disputes and agency matters, with regular appearances in court, arbitration, mediation and before administrative agencies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing litigation files (including class/collective matters), counseling and training employer clients on workplace policies, and advising on risk mitigation and compliance. The team handles matters across state and federal forums and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
2+ years litigation experience; background in employment law strongly preferred
Admission to the New Hampshire bar or eligibility to obtain admission
Familiarity with state and federal administrative procedures and agency practice
Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, time- and project-management abilities
