Apply in confidence →Seeking an employment litigation associate to join a national labor & employment practice in the Omaha office. The role focuses on counseling and defending employers across a broad range of workplace matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, non-compete disputes, and agency charges.
Day-to-day work includes litigating and defending cases in state and federal court, representing clients before administrative agencies, participating in mediations and arbitrations, handling labor matters (elections, grievances, arbitration), and providing preventive counseling and training for employer clients.
This is a hybrid role based in Omaha with interaction across a larger national employment practice group and opportunities to work on complex, employer-side matters.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience; background in employment, labor, or immigration law strongly preferred
- Admission to the Nebraska, Iowa, or South Dakota bar in good standing
- Familiarity with state and federal administrative procedures and employment-related litigation
- Strong written and oral advocacy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
