Seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy energy practice in the firm's San Francisco office. The team represents utilities, generators, transmission owners, renewable and technology companies, and industry groups on matters at the intersection of litigation, regulation, and public policy.

Day-to-day work will include legal research and writing, client counseling, drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing for and participating in witness interviews and depositions, working with experts, and advocacy in regulatory proceedings and court hearings.

The group values collaborative, detail-oriented lawyers who can manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment and who demonstrate a commitment to pro bono representation. Applicants should be prepared to provide a cover letter, resume, and transcript.

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • 3–6 years litigation and/or regulatory experience, preferably involving energy matters
  • Membership in the California Bar required
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; demonstrated case-management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to pro bono work
