Seeking a first-year litigation associate to join an intellectual property team in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on patent litigation matters and involves working closely with senior lawyers on sophisticated commercial disputes and enforcement/defense matters.

New associates participate in a firm-wide orientation and receive formal mentoring to accelerate integration. The position is expected to begin in September 2026 and requires regular office presence (approximately 60% on-site, with up to 40% remote work).

J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school (expected to graduate prior to start)
Eligible to sit for the USPTO exam or already USPTO-registered
Eligible for admission to the state bar where position is based
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong professionalism and client readiness
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
Ability to collaborate effectively on team-based matters
