Environmental Litigation Associate — Washington, D.C.

Seeking an associate to join a national litigation team in Washington, D.C., focusing on environmental litigation and mass-tort matters at the federal level. The role involves defending and advising clients on complex regulatory and enforcement issues, with opportunities for direct client contact.

Ideal assignments include civil enforcement defense and regulatory counseling involving federal agencies and the Department of Justice. The team values candidates who can analyze technical regulatory schemes, manage matters independently, and produce high-quality written work.

• JD; law school class years 2019–2023
• Experience in environmental litigation (civil federal experience preferred)
• Government-side enforcement experience or familiarity with federal agency/DOJ enforcement approaches a plus
• Strong research, analysis and drafting skills; ability to work independently and manage projects
