Environmental Senior Attorney — Richmond

Join a nationally recognized environmental practice as a non-partnership track Senior Attorney based in Richmond (with opportunity to be based in Washington, DC). The role offers meaningful client contact, mentoring, and collaboration on significant regulatory and enforcement matters.

The position has a billable expectation of approximately 1,600 hours and is benefits-eligible. The team works across compliance counseling, enforcement defense, permitting, litigation and agency rulemaking on long-term, precedent-influencing matters.

• Minimum ~6 years' experience practicing environmental law in private practice, government, or trade association settings.
• Substantive experience in compliance counseling, enforcement defense, permitting, litigation and/or agency rulemaking.
• Strong written and oral communication, good judgment, intellectual curiosity, responsiveness and ability to work in collaborative teams.
• Virginia bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining.
