Growing national law firm seeks multiple associates to join its Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation practice in the Kansas City office. This is an immediate, hands-on litigation role offering early substantive courtroom and discovery experience.

Typical responsibilities include legal research and drafting (memoranda, pleadings, motions), handling discovery and depositions, attending court conferences, and client-facing work under partner supervision. Candidates should be ready to contribute on active matters from day one.

Admissions in Missouri and Illinois required.

2–6 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with environmental or toxic tort matters (all levels encouraged to apply)
Admission to practice in Missouri and Illinois
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience with discovery, depositions, and courtroom appearances preferred
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; strong work ethic and professional communication skills
