Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Employment & Labor practice. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in connection with mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of transactional and advisory matters, including deferred compensation, equity awards, non-compete and severance arrangements, and ERISA- and tax-related issues. The team advises corporate clients and deal teams across complex, high-value matters.
- 2–6 years post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits
- Experience supporting M&A and other corporate transactions from an exec-comp perspective
- Familiarity with equity compensation, deferred compensation, ERISA and relevant tax rules
- Strong drafting and transactional skills, with ability to work collaboratively on deal teams
- Excellent academic credentials and admission to the New York bar (or eligibility)
