Top-tier New York law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Employment & Labor practice. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in connection with mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of transactional and advisory matters, including deferred compensation, equity awards, non-compete and severance arrangements, and ERISA- and tax-related issues. The team advises corporate clients and deal teams across complex, high-value matters.

2–6 years post-qualification experience in executive compensation and employee benefits
Experience supporting M&A and other corporate transactions from an exec-comp perspective
Familiarity with equity compensation, deferred compensation, ERISA and relevant tax rules
Strong drafting and transactional skills, with ability to work collaboratively on deal teams
Excellent academic credentials and admission to the New York bar (or eligibility)
