Top-tier law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Employment & Labor practice in Philadelphia. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

The successful candidate will work on tax-qualified retirement plans, deferred compensation, equity awards and ERISA-related issues, collaborating with deal teams and advising corporate clients on transaction-related compensation structuring and documentation.

  • 2–6 years post-qualification experience with a primary focus on executive compensation and employee benefits
  • Experience advising on executive compensation issues in M&A and other business transactions
  • Familiarity with ERISA, tax-qualified plans, deferred compensation and equity award design and documentation
  • Strong drafting and transactional skills; ability to work collaboratively on deal teams
  • Active JD and licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (or eligible to obtain admission)
