Well-regarded national law firm is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join its Salt Lake City office. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits work supporting mergers & acquisitions and other business transactions.

The position offers exposure to drafting and negotiating compensation arrangements, advising on equity and cash incentive plans, and coordinating tax and ERISA considerations with deal teams. The team handles matters across industries and works closely with corporate attorneys on transactions.

Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or eligibility) in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
2–6 years of substantive executive compensation and employee benefits experience
Experience advising on executive compensation in M&A and transactional contexts, including equity and incentive plan design and documentation
Strong drafting and transactional skills; familiarity with tax and ERISA issues is preferred
