Leading international firm seeks experienced energy/public economic law lawyer to join its Düsseldorf team. The role focuses on advising on renewable-energy projects, regulatory mandates and complex energy commercial contracts, including agreements related to green hydrogen and battery storage.

You will support clients on project structuring, development and financing, provide risk assessments on national and cross-border energy matters, and represent clients in negotiations and dispute settings where required. The team operates in a collaborative, international environment with structured professional development.

Several years' post-qualification experience in energy law / public economic regulation
Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex energy and commercial contracts (project, supply, trading)
Good commercial and technical understanding of renewable-energy projects (e.g. hydrogen, storage)
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages advantageous
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
