Finance Associate — Lending, New York

Seeking a mid‑ to senior‑level finance associate with substantive sponsor‑ or lender‑side lending experience. The role focuses on sophisticated corporate financings including acquisition financing, buyouts, restructurings, special situations and other debt transactions.

Associates will work on complex, market‑leading transactions for institutional lenders and private equity borrowers. The role involves drafting and negotiating financing documentation, managing deal processes and working closely with senior partners and cross‑functional teams.

Position is open to candidates able to sit in New York; consideration may also be given to candidates in several other U.S. offices (Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Palo Alto or San Francisco).

• Mid‑ to senior‑level associate with demonstrable sponsor‑ or lender‑side finance experience
• Experience representing lenders (investment/commercial banks, BDCs or other debt providers) and/or borrowers (private equity sponsors) on leveraged acquisitions, buyouts, restructurings or special situations
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on financing documentation and comfort managing complex transactions
• Ability to collaborate across deal teams and communicate clearly with senior lawyers and clients
