The team advises banks, fintech firms, and other financial institutions on regulatory, transactional, and enforcement matters, including chartering/licensing, investigations, administrative enforcement, and legislative/regulatory developments.
Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated interest in bank regulation, AML, consumer protection, fintech, chartering, or cryptocurrency matters, and strong research, writing, and analytical skills. The role offers hands-on work across regulatory and transactional matters and collaboration with a broad, multidisciplinary team.
- Mid-level associate (classes 2020–2023) with relevant transactional or regulatory experience in financial services
- Demonstrated interest or experience in bank regulatory work, anti‑money‑laundering, consumer protection, fintech, chartering, or cryptocurrency matters
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Admission to practice, or eligibility for admission, in Washington, D.C.; prior experience interacting with federal or state banking regulators (e.g., Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, FinCEN) preferred
