Top-tier Toronto office seeks an Associate with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience to join a leading Aviation & Aerospace practice within the Financial Services group. The role focuses on aircraft finance and aviation regulatory work, with significant cross-border elements.

Typical matters include aircraft and engine acquisitions and dispositions, operating and finance leases (including cross-border and export-credit financings), commercial lending, and regulatory issues related to aviation, drones and defence initiatives. The position also supports a broad range of lending and finance mandates for regulated financial institutions and other financial services providers.

The team advises on complex financing structures and regulatory compliance and maintains strong relationships with federal, provincial and industry regulators. The firm promotes an inclusive workplace and invests in professional development.

Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in aircraft financing, leasing or aviation regulatory matters
Experience with commercial lending and finance leases; cross-border transaction experience preferred
Strong academic record; law degree and transcripts required
