Top-tier New York law firm is seeking a Fund Finance Staff Attorney to join its finance practice focusing on credit facilities for alternative asset managers and funds. The role supports new financings and ongoing facility work including amendments, increases, maturity extensions, and borrower joinders.

Day‑to‑day duties include drafting and reviewing closing deliverables (resolutions, UCC filings, legal opinions and certifications), coordinating with lenders’ and local counsel across offshore jurisdictions, assisting with closings, and preparing loan‑agreement summaries for knowledge management. The team emphasizes collaborative, transactional work within a close‑knit group.

This is a hybrid role based in New York. Candidates should be able to handle tasks independently as experience grows and maintain strong relationships with clients and opposing counsel.

J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to the New York bar (or admission to bar of local office jurisdiction)
Interest in and aptitude for fund finance/transactional work; detail‑oriented and organized
Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with Excel, iManage and Microsoft Word preferred
