General Liability Partner, Insurance — Baltimore

Seeking a partner-level insurance litigator to join a busy General Liability team in the Baltimore office of a national law firm. The role focuses on defense work across the full lifecycle of general liability matters, with substantial opportunity for motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitration and jury trials.

Ideal candidates will have significant trial experience handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death and complex personal-injury matters. The team defends a broad range of property and casualty claims for insured and self-insured clients.

Candidates must be admitted to the Maryland bar; admission to DC and/or Virginia is a plus. The firm offers competitive compensation and standard employee benefits.

• 8–15 years of experience in general liability defense, including case management, motion practice, discovery and trial experience
• Admission to the Maryland bar required; DC and/or Virginia admission a plus
• Proven trial and courtroom experience (hearings, depositions, arbitrations, jury trials)
• Strong legal research, writing and case-management skills; experience with employment practices liability or professional liability a plus
