Apply in confidence →Seeking a mid-level government contracts associate to join a national firm’s Government Contracts group. The role is open to candidates in the Washington, D.C. or Tysons, VA offices and will handle counseling and litigation-related matters across federal procurement and grant programs.
The successful candidate will work on FAR/DFARS and Uniform Guidance issues, government contract and grant investigations, False Claims Act matters, bid protests, and prime/subcontractor disputes. The team serves public- and private-sector clients on a range of regulatory and disputes matters.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the relevant state bar, in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in government contracts and/or grants
- Experience with FAR/DFARS, the Uniform Guidance, investigations, False Claims Act actions, bid protests, and prime/subcontractor disputes preferred
- Strong oral and written advocacy and drafting skills; law firm, government, and/or clerkship experience desirable
