Apply in confidence →Experienced government contracts associate sought to join an established public‑contracts group in the Washington, D.C. (or Tysons) office. The role involves advising on federal procurement and grant matters and supporting litigation and dispute work across the government contracts lifecycle.
Typical matters include counseling on FAR/DFARS and the Uniform Guidance, handling investigations and False Claims Act matters, and representing clients in bid protests and prime/subcontractor disputes. Candidates will work with a mix of government, commercial and litigation matters and collaborate across practice teams.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in government contracts and/or grants work.
- Practical experience with FAR/DFARS, the Uniform Guidance, investigations, False Claims Act matters, bid protests, or prime/subcontractor disputes.
- Strong oral and written advocacy and communication skills; prior law firm, government, or clerkship experience preferred.
