Growing healthcare litigation team in Walnut Creek seeks an associate to handle medical malpractice and related healthcare defense matters. The role involves representation of a range of healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, preparing and arguing motions, conducting and defending depositions, and managing files from intake through resolution. The team works across specialties within healthcare and supports collaborative development for attorneys with litigation backgrounds.

Admitted to practice in California
1–15 years' litigation experience (medical malpractice experience preferred)
Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions; taking and defending depositions
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a litigation team; interest in healthcare law or transferable civil litigation experience
