Established international law firm is recruiting an Infrastructure Projects associate to join its Scottish projects practice. The role can be based in Edinburgh with regular hybrid working between the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices and travel to client sites across the UK.

The team advises across the full projects lifecycle on large-scale infrastructure and accommodation schemes, including procurement, construction, operation and handback. The successful hire will work on student accommodation, EV charging and district heating matters and support wider PPP and infrastructure mandates across the UK and Ireland.

This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded projects lawyer who wants to develop technical drafting, client-facing and project-management skills within a market-leading projects group with broad international resourcing.

  • Qualified solicitor with approximately 4–6 years PQE working in infrastructure, projects or construction law
  • Experience on long-term infrastructure/PPP projects and familiarity with public procurement processes preferred
  • Strong drafting and commercial awareness; comfortable leading client calls and meetings
  • Good project management, organisation and ability to work across multi-office teams; willingness to travel to client sites
