Seeking an experienced attorney to join a firmwide Innovation team supporting the Strategic Advisory and Government Enforcement (SAGE) business unit. The role partners with lawyers, practice groups, and operations to improve legal service delivery through people, process and technology — with an emphasis on generative AI, automation, and data-driven solutions.

The position will lead and manage projects to digitalize practice workflows, onboard and act as product owner for technology, build client-facing data and collaboration solutions, and create automated knowledge and precedent libraries. The role can be based in Austin or another U.S. office, with consideration for fully remote U.S. locations.

This is a collaborative, client-focused role that reports to the head of Practice Innovation and works closely with SAGE leadership to promote adoption, measure ROI, deliver training, and capture matter and experience data to inform future matters.

  • Juris Doctor and admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Approximately 6 years' post-qualification experience in litigation, regulatory, transactional, or policy work at a large law firm.
  • Proven project management, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work independently.
  • Familiarity with legal technology, automation, data capture/analytics and enthusiasm for leveraging AI/generative AI in legal workflows.
  • Experience or strong interest in knowledge management, practice/project management, and designing client-facing metrics and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong client/service orientation; willingness to travel as needed.
