Insurance Coverage Associate — Boston

Seeking an experienced insurance coverage associate to join a national insurance coverage practice on a partnership track. The role focuses on coverage litigation and counseling for first- and third‑party matters and involves working directly with clients and colleagues across multiple U.S. offices.

The team handles contested coverage disputes and related litigation; ideal candidates will be comfortable managing cases from initial analysis through dispositive motion and trial preparation. The firm values strong writing, analytical rigor, client service, and a commitment to pro bono work.

Position can be based in the Boston office (other U.S. office placements may be available). Admission in the hiring jurisdiction is preferred and must be obtained within one year of joining.

• 3–5 years of insurance coverage experience (policyholder or insurer-side) with litigation background
• Demonstrated familiarity with first‑ and third‑party policies and principles of policy interpretation
• Excellent analytical and written advocacy skills
• Proven initiative, leadership ability, and comfort working directly with clients
• Strong academic record and willingness to take on pro bono matters; bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction preferred (required within one year)
