Insurance Coverage Attorney — Chicago

Senior-associate level attorney role in a national insurance-coverage practice based in Chicago. The team represents insurers, reinsurers, and related entities in coverage disputes, bad-faith litigation, declaratory judgment actions, mediations and arbitrations across state and federal courts.

The role involves counseling insurers on coverage issues, preparing coverage opinions, and litigating coverage and bad-faith matters. Candidates should expect a mix of motion practice, written advocacy and client counseling; the position is offered on a hybrid working basis and includes standard employee benefits.

• 1–7 years post-qualification experience in insurance coverage and related litigation
• Admission to the Illinois Bar
• Experience representing insurers/reinsurers in state and federal courts, including declaratory judgment and bad-faith matters
• Strong legal research, analysis and drafting skills; experience issuing coverage opinions
