Mid-level associate role on a busy complex commercial litigation team in Chicago. The team handles high-stakes civil litigation in Illinois state and federal courts across all phases of litigation.

The role involves managing discovery in large matters (including e-discovery), taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and supporting trial preparation. Candidates will work closely with partners and case teams on research, pleadings, expert development, and case strategy.

Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (top-tier firm or equivalent) or relevant federal clerkship
Experience in complex commercial litigation in Illinois state and/or federal courts
Proven discovery management skills, including e-discovery coordination
Experience taking/defending depositions and drafting/arguing motions
Excellent writing, research, analytical, and organizational abilities
Admission to the Illinois State Bar
