Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate — San Diego (remote option)

Experienced litigation team seeks an associate to handle insurance coverage and extra-contractual matters from the firm’s Southern California office with flexible remote arrangements. The role offers courtroom and dispositive motion work in both state and federal court and exposure to a broad range of insurance disputes.

Matters include California first- and third-party property & casualty coverage, professional liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist, life/health/disability coverage, and bad-faith litigation. The position emphasizes independent case management, discovery strategy, depositions, and written advocacy.

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience handling insurance coverage and related extra-contractual matters.
• Admission to the California Bar required.
• Proven ability to manage litigation files independently: draft pleadings, handle discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare case assessments.
• Strong legal research and writing skills, solid academic credentials, and effective time management across multiple matters.
