Growing insurance-focused practice seeks an associate with 3–6 years' insurance defense litigation experience to join its Austin team. The role offers substantive courtroom and motion practice, handling a mix of liability matters and exposure to national insurance clients.

Responsibilities include developing defense strategy, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials. The firm provides formal mentoring, business-development training and opportunities for client secondments and cross-office collaboration.

3–6 years' insurance defense litigation experience (PQE)
Experience with premises liability, motor-vehicle negligence (including UM/UIM), negligent security, professional liability and/or wrongful-death matters
Strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills; courtroom and deposition experience
Admission to practice in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction; additional state admissions a plus
