A qualified insurance lawyer is sought to join a growing Insurance team based in Edinburgh with the option to work from London. The role is non-contentious and combines regulatory advisory and transactional work across general insurance and life/wealth insurance products.

Work will include advising on bancassurance and strategic partnerships, distribution and outsourcing agreements, product development, FCA/PRA regulatory matters and cross-border regulatory perimeter issues, plus reinsurance and insurance business transfers. The role offers regular collaboration with corporate and financial services teams on M&A and related matters.

Qualified lawyer (England & Wales) with at least 2 years PQE
Experience in non-contentious insurance work and regulatory issues (FCA/PRA)
Strong drafting and negotiating skills for commercial agreements (distribution, outsourcing, reinsurance)
Commercial awareness, client-focused approach and good communication/organisational skills
