Insurance Litigation Associate — Los Angeles

Seeking a mid-level insurance litigation associate to join a national insurance coverage practice in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on complex defense and coverage matters across general liability, property, and reinsurance disputes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, appearing at court hearings, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing coverage opinions on third-party property and general liability claims. You will work with a large, dedicated coverage team handling matters for insurers, reinsurers, and other insurance-industry clients.

The team values strong research and writing skills, courtroom-ready litigation experience, and the ability to analyze and advise on coverage issues in high-stakes matters.

• 3–6 years of litigation experience, with hands-on civil litigation exposure
• Proven experience taking depositions, attending hearings, and drafting/arguing motions
• Experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions (general liability, property, reinsurance preferred)
• Excellent legal research and writing skills; strong academic record
• Admission to the California Bar required
