Experienced litigation team seeking a Special Counsel to join a national practice with openings in New York, Boston or Washington, DC. The role centers on insurance and reinsurance disputes, with substantial exposure to arbitral forums and trial-focused advocacy.

Responsibilities include drafting complex submissions, managing expert discovery, preparing witnesses, and developing pretrial and trial strategies. The position is senior, off-track, and will carry meaningful responsibility on matters handled by the team.

The team operates on a hybrid schedule; the role requires approximately 60% on-site work in accordance with the firm’s published guidelines.

JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
7+ years of litigation experience (PQE) with insurance/reinsurance matters preferred
Admitted or eligible for admission in New York, Massachusetts, or the District of Columbia
Experience with arbitration and trial advocacy, including witness preparation and expert discovery
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization and attention to detail, and proven ability to work collaboratively on teams
