The associate will support a busy title insurance and settlement services practice, handling regulatory due diligence for insurance entity transactions, state insurance department examinations, licensing and applications, and new product or program development. The role also includes advising settlement-services businesses on transactional and regulatory issues involving title insurance, escrow operations, affiliated business arrangements, and joint-venture title agencies.
The team handles matters for a mix of clients across industries; the role offers exposure to both regulatory and transactional work, a collaborative platform, and a full professional benefits package.
- 3–5 years post-qualification experience in insurance regulatory, transactional, or financial services regulatory matters
- Direct experience or strong familiarity with title insurance, escrow operations, or other settlement services strongly preferred
- Experience conducting regulatory due diligence for M&A, supporting licensing/applications, and responding to state insurance department matters
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
