Join a national law firm’s IP litigation team as an associate focused on patent disputes and technology-related matters. The role supports litigation across the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation practice group and may be based in Austin or another firm office (remote/virtual options considered).

The firm is seeking a mid-level litigation associate with a track record in patent litigation; candidates with electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence backgrounds are strongly preferred. The position requires excellent drafting and advocacy skills, the ability to manage multiple matters under pressure, and strong judgment on case strategy.

The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits; a pay range is disclosed for certain states and will vary by market. Candidates must hold or commit to obtaining an active bar license in their state of residence.

3–7 years post-qualification experience, with patent litigation experience required
Preferred technical background (electrical engineering, computer science, AI, or similar)
Experience drafting briefs, discovery responses, claim construction, and preparing for hearings/trial
Active state bar admission or willingness to obtain promptly
