The role will involve advising on construction disputes across litigation, arbitration and adjudication, supporting client-facing matter teams and working with a sponsor partner while on assignment.
Work will cover standard form construction contracts and building-safety related disputes, with access to firm resources, know-how and training while on placement. The role suits a flexible, resilient lawyer able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualified solicitor with proven contentious construction experience in private practice or in-house.
- Experience of construction disputes: litigation, arbitration and adjudication.
- Familiarity with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC or similar).
- Experience handling building safety or related technical disputes is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Collaborative, problem-solving approach; able to work flexibly on interim assignments.
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
