Short-term legal consulting roles supporting corporate and M&A teams in Abu Dhabi (and occasionally Dubai). Assignments are typically full-time for around six months, with some shorter or flexible engagements available.

Work will focus on buy- and sell-side transactions including drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and joint-venture documentation; leading due diligence; advising on corporate governance, restructurings and foreign-ownership regimes; and managing regulatory filings and approvals across UAE regulators (DFSA, ADGM FSRA, SCA, CBUAE) and multiple free‑zone/onshore regimes.

Suitable for candidates who can operate autonomously within a corporate development or in‑house team, take ownership of transaction workstreams, and adapt to client-facing, fast-paced assignments while drawing on global firm resources and practice-group support.

Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience with a strong Corporate/M&A background (top‑tier firm experience preferred)
Proven experience drafting and negotiating SPAs, shareholders’ agreements and joint‑venture documentation
Experience with UAE and wider GCC regulatory frameworks and cross‑border, Shari’a‑compliant structures preferred
In‑house M&A or corporate development experience advantageous; Arabic language skills preferred
Valid practising certificate or equivalent entitling the candidate to practise in the region; consultant mindset and ability to work independently
