Apply in confidence →Short-term (typically six-month) interim role for a shipping/maritime lawyer based in Dubai. You will join a global legal consulting platform supporting in-house teams and law firm practice groups on transactional and commercial maritime work.
The role involves managing a range of maritime contracts and transactions, including vessel sales and purchases, shipping services agreements, crew management, port and concession arrangements and related cross-border documentation. This is a hands-on in-house-facing position with exposure to regional commercial and regulatory issues.
- 4–8 years post-qualification experience in shipping/maritime law.
- Experience advising on shipping contracts and commercial maritime transactions (vessel sale/purchase, chartering, crew/port agreements).
- Background at a top-tier law firm for shipping work; recent in-house maritime experience is advantageous.
- Prior Middle East experience and Arabic language skills desirable; valid practising certificate or equivalent to practise in the region.
