Six-month interim role (expected to start August 2026, with some flexibility) for an employment lawyer to support a major financial‑services client on contentious and non‑contentious matters across EMEA.

The role will sit alongside HR, Employee Relations and business stakeholders to provide day‑to‑day employment advice, manage litigation and instruct external counsel across jurisdictions, and support investigations, restructurings (including TUPE) and regulatory queries.

You will be supported by an internal sponsor and given access to the organisation’s know‑how and resources while on assignment. Right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Qualified lawyer with a law degree and a minimum of 4 years' employment law experience (law firm and/or in‑house)
  • Experience with employment litigation, drafting/negotiating settlement agreements and advising on disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and TUPE
  • Comfortable working on cross‑border EMEA matters and managing external counsel
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills; able to run matters to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory context desirable but not essential; right to work in the UK required (no visa sponsorship)
