Contract Lawyer — Commercial Contracts

Interim commercial contracts lawyer opportunity supporting renewable‑energy clients on initial six‑month assignments. Roles are flexible and typically delivered on a day‑rate basis via an umbrella provider.

You will review, draft and negotiate a range of commercial agreements (including confidentiality, route‑to‑market and intercompany contracts), advise internal stakeholders on governance and contractual risk, and support M&A and strategic projects alongside in‑house teams and external advisers as required.

  • Qualified solicitor (SRA or Law Society registered)
  • Proven experience in commercial contracts or corporate practice with strong commercial exposure
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts; strong technical drafting skills
  • Experience or interest in renewable energy matters preferred
  • Comfortable working as a secondee/contractor: ability to attend office periodically in Glasgow, Edinburgh or London preferred
