Apply in confidence →Seeking a qualified employment lawyer for a 6-month interim assignment with a global financial services client. The role starts as soon as possible and is available full time (three days in the office) or part time (four days/week with two days in the office). Candidates based in London, Manchester or Glasgow will be considered.
The post-holder will provide day-to-day employment advice to the business, manage employment claims and tribunal proceedings, and support stakeholder-facing employee relations work. You will be supported by an internal sponsor and have access to the firm's resources and know‑how while on assignment.
This is an adaptive resourcing role offering exposure to high-quality client work, regular networking and training opportunities, and flexible working arrangements where possible.
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent with proven employment law experience (private practice or in‑house).
- Strong general advisory background and demonstrable experience managing employment claims and tribunal work.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team; comfortable in a fast‑moving environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; pragmatic problem‑solver.
- Right to work in the UK required (no visa sponsorship available).
