Short-term commercial lawyer role on an established global law‑firm consulting platform, based mainly in Abu Dhabi (with Dubai placements and remote/hybrid options also possible). Assignments are typically full‑time for around six months and include visa support and local registration assistance.

The role focuses on commercial contracts across sectors — drafting, reviewing and negotiating supply, procurement, service, joint‑venture, distribution and shareholder agreements, and advising on regulatory compliance and contract risk management under UAE law and free‑zone regimes. You will work with multinational clients and government stakeholders on complex projects and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.

This is a consulting assignment model: you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, supporting in‑house teams and law‑firm partners on time‑sensitive matters and managing deliverables within cross‑functional teams.

Minimum c.5 years' post‑qualification commercial contracts experience (law firm or in‑house).
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills across procurement, supply, JV and shareholder agreements.
Good knowledge of UAE federal law, free‑zone regimes and local regulatory environment; Sharia implications for commercial transactions advantageous.
Practical experience with cross‑border matters and working with multinational clients and government stakeholders; Middle East experience and Arabic language skills a plus.
Consultant mindset: proactive, flexible, client‑facing and comfortable working independently on interim assignments.
Valid practising qualification (or equivalent) permitting practice in the region; willingness to complete local registration processes.
