Apply in confidence →Short-term assignment opportunity for a non-contentious construction lawyer to support projects across the UAE. Typical roles are 3–12 month full-time contracts (common assignments are c.6 months) based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, with occasional flexible-working arrangements.
Work will focus on drafting and negotiating construction documentation (FIDIC and bespoke forms), O&M and FM agreements, and providing front-end commercial advice across power, infrastructure, buildings and related projects. Assignments may sit with major government, energy or developer teams or within a specialist projects practice supporting regional mandates.

- 5–7 years post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction/projects law
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts
- Experience on O&M/FM agreements and advising contractors, subcontractors and design professionals
- Background at a top-tier construction/projects practice; in-house experience with energy, transport or infrastructure clients is an advantage
- Prior experience in the Middle East and/or fluency in Arabic preferred
- Valid practising certificate or equivalent entitling you to practise in the region
