A leading international law firm's global consultant platform is seeking an interim legal consultant to support real estate work in the UAE. Assignments are typically full-time, six months (with some shorter or flexible opportunities) and based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

The role will sit on real estate teams advising on development, planning and commercial property transactions, plus land and infrastructure arrangements. Candidates will work on a mix of acquisition/disposal, development agreements, lease/licence arrangements and the real estate elements of financings and joint ventures.

This is a consultant assignment model: successful applicants should be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, integrating into client or internal teams, and delivering to tight commercial timetables with access to firm resources and support.

Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience in commercial real estate law (private practice or in-house).
Demonstrable experience across development, planning, acquisitions/disposals, leases and land/infrastructure agreements.
Experience working in the Middle East preferred; Arabic language skills advantageous.
Practising certificate or equivalent entitlement to practise in the relevant jurisdiction.
Consultant mindset: adaptable, client-focused, able to work independently on fixed-term assignments (typically 3–6 months).
