Apply in confidence →Short-term/interim role advising on structured finance transactions, with primary focus on repackaging and secured lending. You will draft, review and negotiate complex banking documentation and support execution in line with internal standards and applicable regulation.
The role sits within an interim/adaptive resourcing model and offers dedicated support from the hiring team's senior lawyers and client-facing team. You will be able to draw on firm resources, training and cross-border expertise while on assignment.
Expect to work closely with regional and global legal colleagues (including teams in Tokyo) on cross-border deals, monitor regulatory developments affecting structured finance, and assist with risk assessment and mitigation.
- Qualified lawyer in a common-law jurisdiction.
- 5–8 years post-qualification experience in structured finance, with exposure to repackaging and secured lending.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills; familiarity with banking and finance documentation.
- Derivatives experience advantageous but not essential; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
