Growing compliance and international trade team in New York seeks an associate to support cross-border transactional and regulatory matters. The role focuses on trade compliance, sanctions risk assessment, export controls, and foreign investment considerations across inbound and outbound deals.

Typical work includes advising on trade aspects of M&A and corporate restructurings, conducting trade due diligence, reviewing counterparties and transaction documentation for sanctions and tariff exposure, and supporting projects in regulated sectors such as space and satellite systems.

JD and active admission (or eligibility) to practice in New York
Experience in international trade, sanctions, export controls, and foreign direct investment/CFIUS-style issues
Transaction experience supporting cross-border M&A, restructurings or supply‑chain reorganizations
Comfort analyzing non‑U.S. sanctions/regulatory regimes and coordinating with cross-border teams; sector experience (e.g., space/satcom) a plus
