Growing IP litigation team in Palo Alto seeks associates to handle patent litigation matters across federal courts and administrative forums. The role offers significant courtroom and brief-writing exposure on high-value, technically complex disputes.

Candidates should have demonstrated patent litigation experience and strong technical aptitude. The group frequently handles appeals and PTAB proceedings; candidates with CAFC clerkship experience or prior PTAB work are particularly welcome.

Juris Doctor from a top-ranked law school; graduating classes 2019–2022 encouraged to apply
Prior patent/IP litigation experience in federal court and/or PTAB proceedings
Undergraduate degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, chemical, biomedical engineering, computer science, or similar technical discipline strongly preferred
Clerkship experience at the CAFC or comparable appellate experience viewed favorably
