Apply in confidence →National law firm has an opening for a patent litigation associate to join its IP litigation team across U.S. offices. The role involves handling district-court patent cases and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, with opportunities to participate in trial and appellate work.
Candidates will work on fact and expert discovery, draft pleadings and dispositive/discovery motions, engage directly with clients and opposing counsel, and take depositions and trial testimony where appropriate. The team values collaborative case strategy and creative legal thinking.

- 2–6 years of patent litigation experience, including U.S. District Court and PTAB/post‑grant proceedings
- Experience with discovery, depositions, expert evidence, claim construction, and motion practice; trial experience or readiness to try cases
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, physics, or comparable technical background preferred
- Strong legal research and writing skills; experience in an IP practice at a law firm preferred; ITC experience is a plus
